Upcoming Curriculum 

Language Arts:  I can describe the main characters and the reasons for their actions. I can describe plot elements, including the main events, the problem, and the resolution, for texts read aloud and independently. I can discuss the author's purpose for writing text. 

Math: I can identify U.S. coins, including pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, by value and describe the relationships among them. I can use relationships to count by twos, fives, and tens to determine the value of a collection of pennies, nickels, and/or dimes. 

Science: I can explain why water conservation is important. I can describe ways to conserve water such as turning off the faucet when brushing teeth and protect natural sources of water such as keeping trash out of bodies of water. 

Social Studies: I can use a calendar to describe and measure time in days, weeks, and years. I can sequence and categorize information.
