What We're Learning!
Module 5 Teamwork

Students will explain relationships among characters.
Students will explain the influence of setting on plot.
Students will identify and explain the author’s purpose.
Students will articulate the author’s purpose using the words entertain and inform.
Next week we will begin multiplying 2 digit numbers by a 1 digit numbers. Students will learn multiple strategies to do this.
Keep quizzing students on multiplication facts! They are working so hard on memorizing and mastering their facts.
Students are creating websites to help them review for out upcoming District 3rd Grade TEKS Check Assessment. It will cover chapters 8, 9, and 10 in the McGraw Hill Online Text.
Ask you child to see their website this weekend. We have created a home page, and pages to review: Animal Structures and Functions, Insect Life Cycles, and Plant Life Cycles.

Repeated Information:
Please help up by reminding students to charge their Chromebooks each night. It is very important that their Chromebooks come to school fully charged each morning. We use these for classwork daily as well as taking tests. When Chromebooks are not charged, it becomes a disruption to student learning for the day. We appreciate your help with this!
