All students need to have a personal set of headphones or ear buds. They are used in class daily, and will be needed for each student for the STAAR test next Wednesday, April 9th.

Please check to make sure your child has a working pair, as a lot have broken or gotten lost. 

One snack will be provided by the school during STAAR Testing, but most kids could use an extra snack (that is not messy) and a water bottle sent from home to help sustain focus throughout the testing.

Glow Day has been a great opportunity to enjoy a fun day of learning.  Thank you to the PTA for setting up and celebrating Glow Day activities in the Gym with all grade levels.  Thank you also to all the parents who sent in supplies from our wish lists to make the day a big success!  

Module 9 From Farm to Table

Over the next three weeks, our class will build their knowledge about food sources, with a focus on the informational text genre. We will read texts and view videos about how foods reach our tables. Students will also write an informative article about how food reaches our tables.

We are wrapping up our measurement and geometry unit.

Students have been working on:

• Measuring weight and capacity

• Classifying quadrilaterals

• Classifying 2D and 2D Shapes

We will take our unit test on Friday 4/11
