Hi All,

A cool way to get credit for a special project is through watching documentaries that you can access online. The following is a PBS video that aligns with material covered in Unit 3

Vietnam, a Televised History Episode 10: Homefront USA (1964-1969)

Want to learn more about the Vietnam War? Vietnam, a Televised History is an 11 part series done by PBS in 1983 documenting the Vietnam War. Unlike the wars of the 21st century, journalists had unprecedented coverage of the conflict in Vietnam and minute news of the war came into Americans living rooms each night. This series documents some of this "televised history" and sheds light into the nature of the Vietnam conflict. Episode 10, Homefront USA documents the antiwar movement in the US that grew from a fringe movement in 1964 to a mainstream cultural protest by 1968. Special Project credit: To earn 50/100 points on your Unit 3 Special Project, please download the movie worksheet attachment for this film and turn in the filled out worksheet in your Unit 3 Special Project Assignment.
