Unit 3 Review Class

Want a chance to go over the material covered in Unit 3? Many of my Cohort 1 students in this class seem to be nearing the end of the unit so I have decided to host a live class at 10:00 am MT on Wednesday, 11-2 at the following link: http://tinyurl.com/Trehal-s-Office I have two purposes for doing this class: 1.) to help prepare students for the test and projects within the class, and 2.) To sum up the unit by presenting the “story” of what happened in this unit. Without the story, history can be a series of meaningless events, dates, names, etc. When you can recognize the story in history, then this subject helps you understand the world you live in today, and the Unit Review classes in this course are my attempt at helping you see this story. This means that Cohort 2 students can attend this live class just as easily as Cohort 1 even if they are not yet ready for the exam. In addition to preparing you for the unit test, attendance in this class counts for 50/100 points toward your Unit 3 Special Project. I hope to see you in class on Wednesday.

If you were unable to attend the live version of this class you may still get special project credit by watching the recording and answering the following question: Why did the North generally support protective tariffs and the South and West generally oppose them? To get credit, submit your answer to this question and the date you watched the recording into the Unit 3 Special Project Assignment. You can watch the recording by clicking the following link: View the Blackboard Collaborate recording
