In order to do this assignment, you must read the college essay tips pages from Carleton College, The Purdue Online Writing Lab, and The University of Wisconsin's Writing Center and answer the following questions:

1. After looking at the tips offered in these three sites, list what you consider the top 5 tips to writing a college essay.

2. Explain why you listed the items you included in question 1 in at least a paragraph.
