Colonial America, 1774-1776: Liberty! The American Revolution is a 6 part series done by PBS documenting the story of the American Revolution in meticulous detail. Episode 2 picks up where Reluctant Revolutionaries left off and opens up with the British reaction to the Boston Tea Party. Each move that both the British and Colonials make in the years 1774 to 1776 lead both groups closer to war, and this film closes with the "shot hear around the world" and the fateful step of the Continental Congress declaring independence in the summer of 1776.
