Unit 7 Assignment 5, Section 1: "Essay Skills"
In order to do this assignment, you must go CollegeBoard's "College Essays" web page and answer the following questions:
1. Watch the short videos "What do colleges look for in an application essay" and "How should you present yourself in an essay" and in a paragraph explain what you feel the basic message both of these videos communicate about writing a college application essay.
2. Read the article "Students Speak: How I Conquered the Application Essay" and explain whether the student perspective agrees or disagrees with the message from the videos. Would you use this approach? Why or why not?
You may paste these questions into the OW text box or answer in paragraph format. Your answers to each of these two questions must be in complete sentences, must be detailed, and should be no less than one paragraph per question.
