In order to get credit for this project you must watch the following film and submit the completed movie worksheet:
Barbarians: The Huns
Ever wondered exactly how the Roman Empire ended? The destruction of Rome in 476 represents the final triumph in Europe of the "barbarians" as the Romans called them. Beginning around AD 200, millions of people began to migrate to Europe from western and central Asia, and they would eventually create a new order in Europe based on their notions of civilization. One of the major groups of barbarians in this era was the Huns, a powerful and warlike tribe that began their move westward near China and caused much of this migration to begin with, pushing other tribes west as they fled before them. The History Channel series Barbarians documents the stories of these various tribes, and since this unit covers the fall of Rome and the beginning of the feudal age, I thought it would be appropriate to see here. Project Credit: Download the movie worksheet attached here and fill out as you watch the film, then submit filled out worksheet to receive points.
