Are you familiar with the story of Islam? Islam, Empire of Faith is a three part series produced by PBS that documents the origin of Islam in the 7th century to the zenith of the Ottoman Empire in the 18th century. This is a fascinating film narrated by Ben Kingsley that is full of information, done very well, and will give readers great perspective on the Islamic world and its relationship to the Christian world in Europe.
