Vietnam Conflict, 1964-1969

Want to learn more about the protest movement during the Vietnam War? Vietnam, a Televised History is an 11 part series done by PBS in 1983 documenting the Vietnam War. Unlike the wars of the 21st century, journalists had unprecedented coverage of the conflict in Vietnam and minute news of the war came into Americans living rooms each night. This series documents some of this "televised history" and sheds light into the nature of the Vietnam conflict. Episode 10, Homefront USA documents the antiwar movement in the US that grew from a fringe movement in 1964 to a mainstream cultural protest by that brought down a president in1968. Project Credit: To get credit for watching this film, download the attached worksheet and submit the filled out worksheet. This is an excellent series and I hope you enjoy this film as much as I did.
