Vietnam, a Television History Episode 8: Cambodia and Laos

Vietnam Conflict, 1965-1975One of the principal tenets of the Domino Theory was that if South Vietnam fell to communism, the rest of Indochina (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand) would fall with it, so while the US involved itself in the Vietnamese Conflict it also became intertwined in the affairs of both Cambodia and Laos, the two nations adjacent to Vietnam that would eventually get caught up in the conflict. Episode 8 of Vietnam, a Television History tells the story of this involvement and documents the fate of both of these nations that, like Vietnam, saw so much destruction from 1965-1975, and also like Vietnam would ultimately become communist nations.  Project Credit: To get credit for watching this film, download the attached worksheet and submit the filled out worksheet. This is an excellent series and I hope you enjoy this film as much as I did. Please let me know if you have any questions.
