Special Project: Unit 3 Equilibrium Price Project Live Class, 10-20

Post date: Oct 17, 2011 4:5:50 PM

Hi All,

Want a little help with the Unit 3 projects? Many of you are working through Unit 3 right now and may have come across the two "Price Equilibrium" projects found within this unit. The primary subject of Unit 3 is how the market works, and price plays a pretty significant role in governing the market. The two price equilibrium projects are designed to help you understand the "ideal" price, or the place where the price makes the goods produced and the goods demanded meet. These are pretty simple projects, but understanding what to do can be a bit tricky, so I have decided to host a live class at 10:00 am MT on Thu, 10-20 in order to go over what to do for both projects and to familiarize you with the concepts behind it. Special Project Credit: Attendance in this live class counts as 50 points toward your 100-point special project requirement for this unit. You can get into this live class by clicking on the following link: http://tinyurl.com/Trehal-s-Office . I promise you that you will come out of this class with a solid plan of attack for the Unit 3 Projects. See you in class on Thu.

If you were unable to attend the live version of this class you may still earn 50 points toward your Unit 3 Special Project by watching the recording and answering the following question: What brand of shoes did I wear when I worked for Pepsi and continue to wear as a teacher today? To earn the 50 points, submit your answer to this question and the date you watched the recording into the Unit 3 Special Project Assignment within your course. You can watch the recording by clicking on the following link: View the Blackboard Collaborate recording

Sincerely,

Trehal
