Hi All,

A cool way to get credit for a special project is through watching documentaries that you can access online. The following is a PBS video that aligns with material covered in Unit 2

The Civil War Episode 2: A Very Bloody Affair

When did the Civil War get serious? A Very Bloody Affair is Episode 2 of Ken Burns' widely acclaimed 9-part series on the Civil War. The series first premiered on PBS in 1990 and 40 million viewers tuned in the week it played, making it the most successful and popular documentaries every produced at the time. This episode describes the year 1862, the epic battle of Shiloh, and the realization by all participating in the Civil War by the close of 1862 that this war would be costly, long, and bloody.
