Remember the story that the Pilgrims came to America for religious reasons? What was their religious plan when they got here? The PBS Frontline series God in America is a six-part series that tells the “religious story” of America, focusing on the role that God has played in the development of the national character of our nation. A New Adam is the opening chapter in this series and explores religious development from the time of the Spanish Missionaries in New Mexico to the end of the first Great Awakening on the eve of the Revolution.
