Commanding Heights is a three part mini-series done by PBS based on a best-selling book by two leading economists of the same name. The subject of this series is the battle of market forces and governments for control of the world economy, a battle that has gone on for the last 100 years. Episode 3, The New Rules of the Game documents the 1990's through the first years of the new century, a time the authors call the 2nd Era of Globalization.
