Dedham High School Students decorated hallways in their respective classes colors after school on Thursday, October 13th. Seniors decorated the upper A-Wing hallway in purple and Sophomores decorated the D-Wing hallway in black. Juniors decorated the lower A-Wing hallway in red early Friday morning. The hallway decorations have since been removed.
The Senior hallway was the most elaborate, featuring countless purple streamers and other decorations filling the upper floor of the A-Wing. A senior, Hannah Kane, said, “It was super fun and we’re super excited we got the opportunity to decorate,” However, there was some disappointment about how many people participated in decorating the halls. “We wish more people had come,” said one Senior, Fiona Finn. However, those who did participate did enjoy the project. “It was worth the time we spent,” said another senior, Elizabeth Reynolds.
The Juniors decorated the lower floor of the A-Wing with red streamers. “I thought the hallway was well decorated and included a lot of red accents for our theme,” Said one Junior, Olivia Dignan. The hallway features red streamers and plates.
The Sophomore hallway featured black streamers throughout the D-Wing basement. “It was fun to decorate and express our class spirit,” said a Sophomore, Emily Gallagher, about decorating the halls.
