The Classics:

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation: Clark (Chevy Chase) is very enthusiastic about giving his children a perfect Christmas, until his extended family comes and everything starts to go wrong.  This hilarious movie never fails to make me laugh, its relatable and engaging plot makes it the perfect movie to watch as a family as the winter season continues.

Home Alone: young boy Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) gets accidently left home while his family goes on vacation. When two robbers start to try and break in he designs a series of traps to keep them out. This action pact classic is engaging for all ages and will keep the whole family entertained. This movie is loved by many year after year and never gets old.

Elf: Buddy (Will Ferrell) was accidentally taken to the North Pole as a baby and he was raised alongside Santa's elves. After finding out he isn’t actually an elf Bubby sets out to find his real dad in New York City. Elf is a holiday must watch, as it appeals to everyone with the humor and cheerfulness it holds. Will Ferrell does an amazing job as Buddy the Elf and spreads holiday spirit to all!

Released in last three years:

Single All the Way:  Released in 2021 Single All The Way is a lighthearted holiday movie where Peter (Michael Urie) invites his best friend, Nick (Philemon Chambers) to pose as his boyfriend to avoid criticism from his family during the holidays. This is a heartwarming and feel good movie that will have you rooting for true love! I really enjoyed this movie, as it highlights how important best friends can be in a humorous way.

Lovehard: Natalia (Nina Dobrev) who thinks she has found the love of her life on an online dating app. But when she meets Josh (Jimmy O. Yang) in real life for the holidays she finds out he is not what his picture looks like. This playful movie brings the viewers on a rollercoaster of emotions. There are both moments of comedy and moments of seriousness. I enjoyed this movie, as you are rooting for love instead of rooting for a specific character.

Falling for Christmas:  Sierra (Lindsay Lohan), who comes from a wealthy and elegant lifestyle, has a skiing accident and is diagnosed with amnesia, but she has the help from a caring father and daughter. The scenery in this movie is incredible, as it takes place in a small town covered in snow and lit up by holiday lights. Throughout the whole movie I was smiley because of its positive, wholesome, and uplifting tone! This is a great movie to get you in the holiday spirit!
