The DHS Performing Arts Company is going virtual for the start of their 2020-21 season.

The group kicked off the season with the election of the new Executive Board last month. The members now include, Asal Al-Azzawi (senior), Jack Fonseca (senior), Max Gorman (senior), Ben Pfeifer (junior), and Erin Tobin (senior). The PAC is led by music/theater teacher Mr. Bergman.

Auditions were held last Wednesday for two one-act plays that will be presented via video on November 13 and 14. Edited by Ben Pfeifer, the shows are “Scenes From A Quarantine” by Lindsay Price and “They Eat Sunshine, Not Zebras” by Dara Murphy. Both will be directed by Mr. Bergman assisted by Ms. Whittemore. Sophomore Theresa Stronach will act as Virtual Stage Manager.

The cast lists for both productions have been released. Rehearsals are expected to start next week over Zoom.

The PAC remains hopeful that the winter musical and spring one-acts will be performed in-person to a live audience. Updates concerning that matter will be reported by the Mirror.
