On Saturday, June 4, DHS graduated its class of 2022 of nearly 180 students. The ceremony kicked off with words from Principal Jim Forrest and a stunning performance of the Star-Spangled Banner by graduate Isabelle Galvez.
The ceremony continued with the welcome address delivered by Senior Class President, Eric Linari. DHS Librarian Alice Johnson gave an inspiring speech as this year’s keynote speaker. The graduates were then addressed by Superintendent Michael Welch (his last graduating class) and the Salutatorian (Sophia MacKinnon) and Valedictorian (Susan Reynolds), respectively.
The ceremony concluded with the graduates receiving their diploma and throwing their caps high in the air!
