Mirror: What's your position at DHS?

Zangerle: I am a behavioral analyst working in special education.


M: How long have you been teaching?

Z: I've been in the field for eight years.


M: Where have you taught before?

Z: BPS, May Institute in Randolph, and a school in New Jersey.


M: Where are you from?

Z: Marlton, NJ.


M: Where did you go to college?

Z: Temple University.


M: What inspired you to become a behavioral analyst?

Z: I wanted to help people who need support and not work in a cubicle.


M: What are your pet peeves in the classroom?

Z: Bullying.


M: What jobs have you had before teaching?

Z: I've worked in a warehouse, a restaurant/bar, and a law firm.


M: Why did you decide to come to Dedham?

Z: The district has a good reputation, and I was impressed during the interview process.


M: Is there anything about Dedham that’s surprised you, so far?

Z: How often I get lost in the hallways.


M: What is your greatest personal accomplishment?

Z: Completing the certification process for my field (master's degree, 1500 supervision hours, passed the certification exam).


M: What are your hobbies?

Z: Cooking, traveling, reading.


M: What is your favorite movie?

Z: No Country for Old Men.


M: What is your favorite sport to play? To watch?

Z: Golf and soccer.


M: What is your favorite food or drink?

Z: I could not possibly pick one specific thing.


M: What are you most looking forward to this school year?

Z: Becoming part of the community.
