The 74th Annual Tony Awards were originally scheduled to take place in June of 2020, but got pushed back due to Coronavirus and the Broadway shutdown. Now, after months of planning, the Tony Administrative Committee have released the nominees for a ceremony that will take place virtually this winter.
Since the 2019-20 Broadway theater season was cut short, only a select few shows were eligible for nominations. These nominations were presented by the legendary stage actor James Monroe Inglehart on October 15.
