DunKings (Dunkin):

Dunkins SuperBowl commercials are always fun and upbeating, but this year their “DunKings” commercial really stood out, especially for those local to Boston. The commercial included Boston stars Matt Damon, Tom Brady and  Ben Affleck along with Affleck's wife, Jennifer Lopez. The commercial shows Affleck attempting to impress his wife, Lopez, while promoting Dunkin's new iced coffee. The commercial was super clever and enjoyable to watch. Viewers loved seeing many famous stars and the commercial even had a catchy song.

Like a Good Neighbaaa (State Farm): 

One of the best commercials from the 2024 Super Bowl was States Farms like a good “neighbaaa” commercial. State Farms like a good neighbor commercials are always entertaining and show how the company takes pride in helping their customers. This year's State Farm’s commercial included famous Austrian actor and former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger and famous American actor, Danny DeVito. In the commercial Schwarzenegger tries to say the State Farms famous slogan “Like a good neighbor” but can’t because of his accent. Ultimately, at the end of the commercial Devito needs to help Schwarzenegger. This commercial was humorous, upbeating and showcased two of America's most famous actors. Due to their acting careers, Schwarzenegger and DeVito have a pre-existing friendship and State Farms did a great job showcasing their friendship while promoting their company. 

Hard Knocks (Dove) 

Dove's “Hard Knocks” commercial was one of the most moving and meaningful commercials in the 2024 Super Bowl. Dove commercials always focus on current issues and send positive messages. This year's commercial highlights the problem of young girls' lack of self esteem because of body image issues, especially in sports. The commercial starts by showing girls falling in love with sports to the catchy tune “It’s a Hard Knock Life,” but then quickly switches to a girl self consciously looking in the mirror. The commercial provides startling statistics like “45% of girls quit sports by age 14” then talks about the importance of working together to keep girls in the game. This commercial shined light on a major problem in our society and helped raise awareness for girls of all ages who suffer in self confidence. 

Born to Play (NFL)

The NFL “Born to Play” commercial was one of those commercials that put a smile on your face. The commercial is about a little boy who dreams of playing football. He appears running through the streets with his football when suddenly many famous NFL players and celebrities appear such as Saquon Barklet, Justin Jefferson, Cameron Jordan, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and Usher. While they only appeared in the boy's imagination by the end of the commercial he had made his way to the inaugural NFL Africa Camp where he met Osi Umenyiora, a two time Super Bowl champion. There he is told by Umenyiora that “it doesn’t matter where you are from as long as you were born to play.” Throughout the commercial, viewers and kids around the world are taught a very important life lesson. It shows that you can accomplish anything with hard work and determinations. This commercial also inspires kids to dream big! 

Nerds Big Game Commercial

The Nerds gummy clusters commercial was a crowd pleaser and left many viewers craving some of Nerds delicious gummy clusters. The commercial included a big gummy looking figure dancing to the song “What a Feeling" from the iconic 80s movie Flashdance and included TikTok star Addison Rae. The commercial was very upbeat and left viewers feeling very happy. As the popularity for Nerds gummy clusters continues to grow especially in teens, this commercial reminded everyone why gummy clusters are a fan favorite candy.
