If you enjoyed Holly Jackson’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (a very popular summer reading book at DHS), you will love the follow-up: Good Girl, Bad Blood. It’s in every way as complex and attention grabbing as its predecessor.

In the first book, we follow Pip and Ravi through their journey full of twists and turns as they solve Sal and Andie's murder mystery.

Good Girl, Bad Blood is set a couple of months later. Their friend’s older brother, Jamie Reynolds, goes missing. Here, we once again follow Pip through many trials and tribulations as she searches for Jamie. Thrillingly, the story ends in a way you’d never expect.

This sequel did not disappoint. In addition to the deeper character development of Pip, I was also fascinated by the complex storylines. I was left stunned by the ways Jackson made them all fit together.

Because Good Girl, Bad Blood covers sensitive topics, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone younger than 13. That being said, it’s a great read and will hold your attention until the very end!
