The Neighbourhood’s global tour came to TD Garden on April 8th, performing a sold-out show to over 18,000 fans in attendance.
"The Wourld Tour" is their first since going on a hiatus in 2021 for almost 4 years. Fans anxiously awaited a new album. Thankfully, the band came back together in November of 2024 and released their most recent album, titled (((ultraSOUND))), the following November.
The Garden show began pleasantly enough with opening acts Noise Dept. and Neggy Gemmy. But once the Neighborhood took the stage to their song "Hula Girl," the crowd went absolutely wild.
An alternative rock band, their setlist included a series of songs, some of which were more well-known, such as “Softcore”, “Reflections”, “Daddy Issues”, and “Sweater Weather.” During the song “Sweater Weather”, lead singer Jesse Rutherford changed a lyric from “In California, with my toes in the sand” to “In Massachusetts, with my toes in the sand,” which was an amazing touch.
The setlist also included underrated songs, including “Void”, “Pretty Boy”, “Fallen Star”, and “Cherry Flavored”.
Throughout the night, the band delivered an electrifying performance, spearheaded by Jesse's incredible vocals and stage presence. The stage lighting and visuals also enhanced the overall experience, creating beautiful backdrops for each song. The energy of the crowd never once waned as they danced and sang every word of every song.
It was one of those concerts that you wish you could experience all over again.
