The Working Of The Hope

The Working Of The Hope

Gods Hope

Hope is God's hand watching over me, in His love.

"Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his lovingkindness;" (Ps 33:18)

Gods hope and my hope on Him causes my soul to rest. "Let thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, According as we have hoped in thee." (Ps 33:22)

Hope heals hearts. "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life." (Pr 13:12)

Gods Hope is there to give humankind the hope for a better future. "For surely there is a reward; and thy hope shall not be cut off." (Pr 23:18) Gods hope is comes from His love for His creation. Gods hope releases love and faith to those who wants to accept Gods Hope. "We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints, because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel," (Col 1:2-5)

Gods hope is there to be looked at and to believe in. It is hope that leads nations. And God had provided a man to put our hope in. "And in his name shall the Gentiles hope." (Mt 12:21) "to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" (Col 1:27)

God hopes that we will live in hope, because when we put our hope on His hope we shall never be disappointed. "Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; Moreover my flesh also shall dwell in hope:" (Ac 2:26) "and hope putted not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us." (Ro 5:5)

Gods hope is that we shall find Him and His son. Hope is the power of love and the way to certainty. "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit." (Ro 15:13 ASV) "Charge them that are rich in this present world, that they be not highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;" (1Ti 6:17)

Hope has no limits in our destiny. God calls everybody. He hopes all people shall find in His Words where to go to and how to grow in faith. "Having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints," (Eph 1:18) "not glorying beyond [our] measure, [that is,] in other men´s labours; but having hope that, as your faith groweth, we shall be magnified in you according to our province unto [further] abundance," (2Co 10:15)

Hope brings strong unity. "[There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling;" (Eph 4:4)

Our hope in Gods Hope is an anchor. "Which we have as an anchor of the soul, [a hope] both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;" (Heb 6:19)

Our hope

Hope keeps me on the right track and God will protect me. "Our soul hath waited for Jehovah: He is our help and our shield." (Ps 33:20)

When I feel overwhelmed I will look to Hope. In God I trust, to Him I look forward. "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, [Who is] the help of my countenance, and my God." (Ps 42:11)

I was born to hope. "For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah: [Thou art] my trust from my youth." (Ps 71:5)

Hope surrounds me, like a shield. I do know God has hope for me. In His hands I give my life. I do count on it that His hope shall become reality. "Thou art my hidingplace and my shield: I hope in thy word." (Ps 119:114)

Hope is the voice of wisdom. "So shalt thou know wisdom to be unto thy soul; if thou hast found it, then shall there be a reward, and thy hope shall not be cut off." (Pr 24:14)

Hope teaches me wisdom, gives me aspiration and makes that I conquer this world. "Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? There is more hope of a fool than of him." (Pr 29:20) "but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint." (Isa 40:31)

We have to come clean in front of God. Hope cleanses us. "And every one that hath this hope [set] on him purified himself, even as he is pure." (1Jo 3:3)

Hope gives boldness. "Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech," (2Co 3:12)

Gods hope is that we take up the hope of salvation and that we shall feel protected. "But let us, since we are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation." (1Th 5:8)
