Meeting Memories:
The program was "Two Views of Science Fiction," a two person panel. It was supposed to be a three person panel, but there was some sort of glitch in the proceedings to cause the meeting to start late and our third panelist went home. Upper Saddle River (and all of New Jersey) was far less built up in those days. A small farm was directly behind the Cultural Center. I recall John Silbersack taking a walk out back, finding a softball-sized turtle, and bringing him in to be the third panelist.
