The club's annual meeting at the Peking Duck House Restaurant in Closter, New Jersey was held on Saturday, August 8, 1998. Despite competition from The World Science Fiction Convention being held in Baltimore which drew away many of our regulars, we easily exceeded our quota to get the use of the private room at no charge. Our thanks to everyone who attended.

The main program event was "Laundry Day," the second episode of THE B-FILES to be shown at a club meeting. Club member and director Michael Straniere was present to introduce and provide commentary on the spoof. Club member Stephanie Rosen was also present in a bit part.

The video was very well received. The group has solved the technical and sound difficulties which plagued their first effort.

After the video had concluded and Mike had answered all questions, Patricia Nash read her story, "Next to Godliness."
