Bantam Spectra Books editor Janna Silverstein proved to be an interesting and informative speaker at the October 13, 1990 meeting of the S.F.A.B.C.

Ms Silverstein talked about her experiences as a S F editor, including taking a call from an irate Harlan Ellison her first day on the job, spoke about upcoming Bantam projects, and answered questions about an editor's responsibilities. She was an engaging conversationalist at the pre-meeting dinner and the post-meeting dire run as well. . . .

Paul Dellechiaie, Mary Levanthal and Glen Mills won free books. An unidentified (but I know who you are) party left fliers advertising a human sacrifice to be held at Van Saun County Park on Sunday, October 21, 1990.
