Meeting Site: Saddle River Valley Cultural Center. Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.

Official Attendance: 21.

Meeting Program: Screening of Television Show Episode and Movie.

Meeting Memories:

Cancellations by a speaker happen from time to time. We usually learn about them prior to the meeting, however. Unfortunately, our guest got stuck for hours in a tremendous traffic jam at the Lincoln Tunnel. Pam ran home and pulled a couple of videos off the shelf as a program.

Naturally, we had three new people show up at the event, two of whom we have not seen again.

We were caught off balance by our guest's no show and threw together a last minute video program consisting of the non sf (but well received) "The Network Deal" episode of THE NEW RED GREEN SHOW. This was followed by the movie, THE SPECIALS, the "sixth (okay, maybe seventh) greatest superhero team in the entire world."
