ART SHOW ROCKS AUDIENCE

Artist Ron Walotsky offered a multi-media presentation of his illustration and fine art paintings. He accompanied his slide show of sf, fantasy, surreal, and abstract work with commentary and answered questions during the show. He also brought several finished paintings to be examined "in the flesh," as well as many other works in a portfolio. Ron displayed and sold prints on another table.

After the slides were shown, there was a fifteen minute recess while the club television and VCR were hooked up to play music videos by Billy Joel and the Romantics, which used Walotsky artwork as backdrops.

There were thirty-four of us in attendance, a refreshing number after a disappointing winter. Warren Davis and David Stephens each won a book during the drawing for the book prize.
