Scene 3.09 - Waterworld
EST: Watery surface of Planet Tellusia - Noon
(AZALEA is sitting in a saucer, skimming a few feet above the water, leading the rest of the craft. It rests below an engine that rests on two gliders. It’s uncanny how it looks just like the starship Enterprise turned upside-down. She’s singing a song along with the craft’s sound system and flying across the water at hundreds of knots an hour, leaving a jet-spray in her wake with a plume at least fifty feet high. As she hits some waves, she goes airborne, and we get to see the ocean and how it’s teeming with life -- the surface is even populated by larger bottom-dwellers, stirred up to the surface by the tsunami. She messes up singing along with the second verse by instead starting to sing the third, taps a button and the song has been instantly rewound to a few moments earlier. She repeats the end of the chorus and this time sings along with the second verse. Throughout, sea monsters have been going to and fro, and a large one in particular skitters across the water toward her. She uses her pistol, nails it between the eyes from 500 yards, hits the button again and starts the second verse over because she was distracted. She continues onward, toward a large, high-peaked mountain island and she goes airborne on every large wave and she keeps her speed by skipping off the crests of the waves. Near the island, the lower half of the Eliza can just be seen in the distance, bobbing in the surprisingly-clear water, slowly doing a somersault.)
