As far as we know, Gallium didn’t expect the events to take this turn. It seemed like it was supposed to be a regular photo shoot, until the cameraman said, “Now, make an anime pillow pose.” After a quick Google search, Gallium responded with surprise, “Oh God, what did I just get myself into?”
It appears that idea should have a new dakimakura with a picture of Gallium on it now, although it is still unknown what exactly idea is going to do with the new pillow.
