Results of Drekwiz’s World Contest

On February 4th, Drekwiz announced winners of his contest with rewards valued at $700. Despite our predictions, according to the judge, the first five places went to worlds and authors mentioned below:

  1. VR Riders - Chill Mountain by Phasedragon;
  2. Primal Valley by Xeverian;
  3. Moody by Fins;
  4. The Eye of Newt by ashei;
  5. Punk's Prison Break by WifiPunk.

Unlike during contests officially organized by VRChat, some content creators used copyrighted content, about which the judge didn't care, as the point of the contest was to reward users for enjoyable content, despite legal issues.

According to Drekwiz, he was going to announce the event much earlier, as he was expecting VRChat’s Udon to come out very soon, which obviously didn’t happen. Nonetheless, last month, Drekwiz decided to start the contest anyway, and at the end of his stream, he said he might have further plans for another contest as well.
