Legendary Host Returning to VRChat

This week, the Great Gatsby of VRChat returns. A user known as Sonic (AKA sonictheboss8472) recently announced his return after being evicted for about two months. The announcement started on December 13th when Sonic said, “I have returned!” And that’s pretty much it. Despite the rumor that some of his VR equipment suffered after getting damaged with a meatgrinder, Sonic still insists on hosting further events.

“Of course, doing events was fun, and an amazing thing to do in VRChat,” he replied. Being able to make people smile and be happy while they listen to the music and enjoy the atmosphere makes me happy to do more in the future... So watch out for another installment of Dancing with SonicTheBoss!”

We’re reminding you that Sonic was the host of some of the biggest events of this September, including “VR Prom” and “80’s Night”, and it seems like these still remain being some of the most popular events in history of VRChat with at least 50 to 70 people in the same world for two hours straight per each event.

During our interview, we asked Sonic where he’s going to hang out now that we've got the new hub and his further plans in the future, to which he replied, “Oh jeez, that’s a good one.. Well, I guess I’ll try and resume my usual lifestyle, I’ll be the Hubs DJ and make people happy and dance. And yes, of course, I will probably be in the old hub more than the new one.”
