Furry Conventions 2020

This year, VRChat has been a host platform for many events, including furry conventions which would normally take place in real life, however, as it turns out, fursuits alone are not enough to fight the ongoing pandemic.

Of all furry conventions hosted in virtual reality, such as Virtual Furence and Eurofurence Online, the majority seems to have ended. Yet, some of them, including Furality Online Xperience, which is coming back this November, are getting hosted more than only once a year, as well as Virtual Furence, which went live for the second time a few weeks ago.

It is hard to establish exact numbers of attendants, however, for the first time, it seems that furry conventions in VRChat might be outnumbering amateur anime conventions in virtual reality.
