Blown Away:

Veteran Plants Bomb at VRChat Headquarters

EvolvedAnt Defuse by EvolvedAnt.

One of VRChat’s most experienced users and content creators since 2014, known as EvolvedAnt, made a world featuring what appears to be the headquarters of VRChat being targeted by terrorists from a company trying to destroy VRChat.

The world called “EvolvedAnt Defuse” has got a bomb in VRChat’s server room, planted by one of their competitors, such as Facebook, Rec Room, High Fidelity, and AltspaceVR, with the motive to sabotage VRChat and their servers supporting Udon, which may be, according to EvolvedAnt, “a new feature that [propels] VRChat as the undisputed champion in the Social VR landscape.” On a side note, EvolvedAnt mentioned that VRChat doesn’t actually have any headquarters, though this fact has not been confirmed nor denied by VRChat themselves yet.

The world features a combination of gameplay similar to the game called “Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes” and the experience from “Escape Room” places that inspired the creator to turn his world into a bit of a maze, which means that the world requires at least two people to defuse the bomb as a team. Although EvolvedAnt mentioned that he’s not going to work on any big additions to this world from now on, feel free to follow him on Twitter (@EvolvedAnt) to stay informed about his potential progress on other projects with Udon.
