The Metaverse Is Broken (Again)

The most common kind of footage you’d see in VRChat.

VRChat is becoming less stable with every new update, however, even though half of humanity in VRChat reported having connection problems, that is not the biggest disaster that happened to the platform this month.

Less than a couple of weeks ago, for the first time in over a year, VRChat suffered from global destabilization of the servers, as it turned out one of the primary reasons was the DDoS attacks against their networking partner, but networking is just one of many issues the app is going through these days.

In conclusion, VRChat posted the following paragraph on Medium, “The confluence of these [issues] resulted in difficulty in diagnosing the problem, which resulted in an increased time-to-solution for either problem. Although we believe we are through the bulk of the issues now, it is possible we may still experience some continued issues as we solve these problems.”
