Santa Claus Kidnapping Users

According to the latest rumors in VRChat, there is a new possible group of local users abducting others while being dressed as Santa Claus. As far as it goes, we heard that there could be a whole organization behind this.

“Oh God... It's like the Halloween clowns all over again...” SwordfighterJ commented after hearing the rumor at The Great Pug. “They just don't bring the presence (presents), they take a child away.” It seems that users making groups of griefing clowns is a regular issue that comes up occasionally.

However, it is quite possible that the same people are responsible for the latest events too. We’ve been trying to find victims of abductions, but none of people who were asked related questions admitted to being involved as either the kidnappers or actual victims. It seems that if any one got abducted, they’re not with the rest of VRChat any more. However, we got to speak to one user who expressed his negative feelings towards Santa, and his name is SlJunior. He responded, “All I can say is... Santa isn't even real, man. That sick **** is breaking into other people’s houses leaving presents and messing with kids, I can tell.” Later, SlJunior mentioned several times that he got hurt by Santa Claus, but his further statement whether he got abducted or not, was quite unclear.

“Am I a victim? Am I a... You’re a victim! He’s a victim, he’s a victim, she’s a victim, and he’s a victim too, we’re all victims!” SlJunior replied. “We can all feel Santa inside ourselves.” However, even if the rumor is true, it’s hard to determine how exactly Santa keeps others from escaping. One of the most common ways to abduct people is usually made with big avatars that cover the view of other users considerably, but the case requires further investigation, which, hopefully, our local police department can allow.
