VRChat Updates Their Social Media Pages

Recently, VRChat deleted their old Instagram page and created an entirely new one. As of now, the reasons to why they did this don’t seem to be apparent to most users.

It appears that VRChat is trying to change their name from “vrchatnet” to “vrchat” on most social websites, as their preferred domain is now “.com” instead of “.net”. According to rumors, some VRChat employees, such as Aev, really dislike the “.net” domain and keep referring only to “.com”.

Also, it is worth mentioning that VRChat gained more popularity after PewDiePie uploaded several new VRChat videos on YouTube, which may be one of the reasons why VRChat is taking another look at their social media pages once again.
