Recently, we got in touch with a person who worked on a project with Savlonic, a virtual band whose lead singer (Weebl) is known for his videos such as “Badgers”, “Narwhals”, and “Amazing Horse”.

According to MissStabby, there’s a group called Syntax Error hosting special real-life events every month whose lead representative invited Savlonic to Stockholm. However, the visit was considered an uneasy thing to do for the band, which is why they decided to use VRChat as a telepresence tool.

All Savlonic avatars were created by Caitlinsculpts, and the VRChat world used during the stream was developed by MissStabby who claims to have taken over the entire project. Other people, including ZircronSwift, Gallium, Aliquem, Tsuna, haolink, jazzy, and Quinix, also helped with it.

Due to technical limitations, Savlonic decided to let users with full-body tracking perform as actors, although the audio has been provided by the band exclusively. After the concert, @TheSavlonic made a tweet, “So happy that this all worked. It means we can gig everywhere. We just need the invites now!”
