In VRChat today, there are 3 major kinds of worlds: avatar worlds, social worlds, and roleplaying worlds. User Synqark thought that it was finally time for a change with his new world called “/*****Testrun.”

After the explosion of VRChat user base, Synqark is one of the few people that have been making a true difference in the game/app. “I was motivated because just building world in Unity is so much easier than creating other logics by programming,” he said. “The VRChat SDK made me dream.”

Synqark has only been developing the world for 2 weeks and he plans on continuing to update it with new and exciting things including Lap Timers, a combatting system, and formation system, twin engine playable with desktop users, etc.

The world was inspired by other kinds of 6DoF games like, for example, Strike Vector and Strike Suits Infinity. So Synqark began to develop what we all know as Testrun.

According to the creator himself, the world was developed after they had finished the world known as “Mind's Eye” and wanted to create another version that would be more focused on the night time. “At that time, my friend butadiene has invented flight logic, it is called “Magic Broom System” in our community,” Synqark said.

“Then I remembered my dream because this system has potential to create 6DoF flight system.” Again, the system used in the world is called “The Broom System” and is meant for desktop users. As where the

“Double Broom” system is for VR users, as it requires 2 hands. “After then, I spent a few days for modeling and setting params of jetpack.”

It seems that within the time span of only 2 weeks, Synqark managed to have made quite a popular world that certainly brings much joy to the community of VRChat.
