On September 21st, all VRChat worlds created for the latest exhibit known as “Virtual Market 3” produced in collaboration with at least 60 unique individuals have been opened to the public for the duration of 5 days until September 25th of 2019.

Despite technical issues with performance, the event grew much bigger compared to the last time in 2018, as it seems to be peaking interest of even more people in Japan and other Asian countries. As far as we know, some of the biggest sponsors of Virtual Market are AMD, 7-Eleven, Autodesk, Panasonic, and WEGO in collaboration with VADER VADER selling real T-shirts and allowing you to acquire one for free after purchasing a virtual T-shirt.

This year, Virtual Market presents 17 worlds, most of which feature about 300–400 MB of footage, and only one of which is made specially for Quest users. The majority of these worlds features a custom menu people can use to toggle personal mirrors or a world map, teleport to other players, view info about the owner of a current booth, and communicate via text chat, all created with the current VRChat SDK without Udon or any other kinds of alien technology.
