This summer, VR Pill announced he would be heading over to Tokyo, and now we finally got new information from VR Pill himself confirming his progress on his trip to the capital of Japan.

As you may know, we tend to avoid news about real life, as well as other things that actually matter, and there was no clear public confirmation from VR Pill regarding his trip this month until recently. However, he created a brand new Instagram page called “vrpill_in_japan” this week and published an image of himself “wearing” a ninja costume on his Twitter page a few days ago.

It seems that this is the first time VR Pill has ever created an Instagram page for himself as the VR Pill without associating himself with VRChat directly. If you want to check out his blog, feel free to scan this QR code.

On July 2nd, VR Pill said in the Japanese channel, “I want to go to Fuji Rock, but I think I can’t get a train from Tokyo,” which also confirms that he’s going to Tokyo this month. His exact whereabouts aren’t known to the public at the moment, but we know for sure that he already got to Shanghai earlier this week, and now it looks like he arrived at his new place today.

Also, on July 21st he mentioned that he got a guest house where he was probably going to stay for the rest of his time in Tokyo, and today VR Pill posted a picture of his “tiny little desk for next 3 months” on his Instagram page.

For those of you who think VRChat moderation won’t be as strict due to the fact VR Pill is currently in Japan, we have news stating otherwise. According to him, VR Pill is going to continue working with VRChat during his stay in Tokyo, and he also brought his HTC Vive, which means our lead moderator will be able to test your worlds and avatars in VR, as well as in desktop mode.

So far, we also know that VR Pill might attend the Summer Sonic Festival this August, but until then, in order to stay informed, we suggest following his blog as long as you want to know more about his stay in Japan.
