A company behind some of VRChat’s default avatars, including the famous Nikei model, made a comeback with a new name, “Tafi,” as their avatars started to take over the worlds of VRChat.

On October 26th, VRChat confirmed that they’ve been working with Tafi to provide Quest-ready avatars for VRChat on all platforms. Right now, Tafi’s tools can be used to create regular avatars without any modeling skills required whatsoever, and all items are going to be free for as long as Tafi Avatar Creator is in the beta stage. According to Jon from the Tafi team, the number of features will keep getting expanded.

“We're going to be adding a height feature shortly to control the height,” he said, “but the full scaling [of] various features and body parts is definitely a goal of ours, but still a ways off.”

As advised by VRChat, all users are suggested to give it a try at https://maketafi.com/vrchat and join Tafi’s official Discord server, run by representatives of both Tafi and VRChat developer teams, to provide feedback, by using the following link: https://discord.gg/2hpDxM6.
