This week, another portion of VRChat drama happened during a stream. One of the streamers got away with cheating death, unlike others who got called “unimportant” because they weren’t streaming.

King Maou decided to tell us the whole story, and he said, “So here’s what happened, during an RP my friend was killed off because of an attack which was also supposed to kill another person, SciFri, but didn’t because of ‘plot armour’. This is an act of RP fouling which happened on stream, but nothing was said about it.” Apparently, it may sound like a common situation, but there’s still more to it. “Later on SciFri was then killed again, but this time he was resurrected because he was the streamer, the way he was resurrected is by the ‘Guardians’ who are a host of observers who are not meant to interfere with people. These people have broken their own rules by interfering multiple ways as this is not the only situation and each time is recorded through multiple people’s points of view as most of them are streamers.”

However, even though the rules were neglected during an RP session, King Maou’s friend Corowna was “killed off without a care”, and then, according to Maou, when his friend confronted them, they kept coming up with new excuses to avoid the problem. The conflict was recorded and clipped on Twitch, but it got removed eventually, which may raise new questions as well.

If you want to hear more about it from another user, you should check out Ikrium’s YouTube channel with his own commentary on the situation in his videos called “Real Talk 4 RP BTW” and “Real Talk 5 and Update to RP BTW video”. In the second video he mentions that the person who insulted his friend claimed to have made a wrong impression by making a “joke” that sounded offensive to others.

Even though that other person who called Corowna “not important” eventually said it was a joke, it got taken in a very bad way by a lot of people, although the situation isn’t cleared up yet, and there may be still more to come.
