NieR:Automata assets on sale.

Virtual Market, or Vket, is an expo hosted by Japanese users in VRChat which remains the largest online VR convention to date. This year, Vket4 will be going live from April 29th to May 10th.

Virtual Market has grown over the years, and so far remains exclusive to VRChat with 36 worlds to explore, making it one of the largest, yet most accessible expos to attend, while being considered a useful platform for creators to show off their products, typically presented on booth.pm.

This year, some of the sponsors supporting Virtual Market are Autodesk, HP, Panasonic, Sega, Netflix, Seven & I Holdings Co., Audi, Marvel Studios, and also Square Enix who are now selling official assets from the developers, which means that anyone can now buy the models from NieR:Automata from Square Enix by following contact details presented in one of Virtual Market’s worlds directly. Since the AAA game developers are interested in selling their assets and allowing buyers to use them as avatars without any copyright issues, this may put a start to potential consumerism enforcements in VR.

On top of this, Virtual Market is providing a significant push for the involvement of Western VRChat users and would like to encourage more content creators worldwide to join the next convention as exhibitors.
