Parties Crashed by VRChat Updates

Last Saturday, on April 25th, VRChat pushed a new update and made everyone update their clients while several clubs, such as Rizumu and Syntax Error, were hosting their parties in VRChat.

As expected, some users expressed outrage since the update got released on Saturday, around the time of the week when VRChat’s concurrent user numbers are usually the highest.

However, within one hour after the update, VRChat notified everyone on their Discord server they decided to roll back the update and return to the previous version, and, as a result, the users had to quit and update VRChat once again.

In conclusion, the dance community was left unsatisfied with the outcome, since this wasn’t the first time big VR clubs encountered issues because of the updates, and stated doubt about whether or not the developers value people hosting parties in VRChat, despite saying that they cared about the dancers in the past.
