After weeks of stalling and pretty much nothing extra special going on, the community is organizing its very own tournaments and championships hosted by various kinds of users in VRChat.

Last Thursday, Gormundr, founder of the “Guild of Voice Actors,” announced that he’s working on a new event that is supposed to gather some highly recognized faces in the community. According to his own words, this is going to be “the Olympics of VRChat” that he put his own resources into, including real finances.

However, this Friday, we found out that another user known as RexxaRou is preparing an event that might be similar to Gormundr’s. Unlike him, RexxaRou must have better connections with streamers and popular community members. On the other hand, Gormundr made a brand new arena specially for his event.

Many streamers got invited to both tournaments, and one of them is Kimple. She said, “I wonder what type of event it is going to be. While Gorm wanted somewhat like event where fighters fight with animations and such, it would be show type event.”

According to RexxaRou, the issue got resolved, as it turned out that their events weren’t quite as similar as Gormundr expected them to be due to the lack of information.

Speaking of information, while the devs aren’t going to add a message/voice call system, VRChatters are creating their own ways of delivering messages between users. For example, Ghoost just announced that he’s opening his own post office inspired by Violet Evergarden.

“I can deliver any message, whether it's a love confession or a formal letter to anyone,” he said. As he mentioned, the office supports English and Russian languages so far, but the list is going to get expanded at some point eventually. “I will go anywhere, anytime when being called upon.”

And in case you’re looking for more stuff to do, we still have a secret event happening at the moment, which is known as “The Hunt." Make sure you visit “Hunter’s Hub” for details if you’re interested.
