Buff Pikachu Becomes TikTok’s Celebrity

This week, a series of short videos with a buff Pokémon blew up on TikTok as Lowrhen gained over five million views with her videos starring herself wearing a muscular Pikachu avatar recorded in VRChat.

One of her latest videos reached over 1.7 million views in a matter of days. “I'm absolutely blown away... The past 24 hours have been crazy,” Lowrhen said on October 28th. “I'm simultaneously excited and facepalming that this happened on TikTok of all platforms.”

Although the avatar doesn’t seem to have been created by Lowrhen, right now, it can be found in DoMeon’s world called “Muscle Pokemon Village.”
